Work begins on Balmoral stop light

2013082395123049At long last crews have begun work to install a new traffic light at the Balmoral and Broadway intersection.

    Its about time….its a dangerous place for peds. to walk.

    Now we just need one at Berwyn and Clark. That intersection is too busy to be just a stop sign.

    That’s great news! We also need one at Berwyn and Ashland. It is the only major intersection that Berwyn passes through without a stop sign or light. There’s one at Sheridan, Broadway, Clark, Lincoln and Western, but not Ashland. Why not? I’ve seen so many near accidents at this dangerous intersection. We need a light here.
