Voting is open for TimeOut Chicago’s annual “Eat Out Awards,” and two three local businesses are on the ballot.  Each year since 2008 the Eat Out Awards have recognized restaurants that stand out around Chicago in various categories.  This year features two local businesses who could use your support at the ballot box:  The Burger Philosophy & Pasteur.

Lickity Split (6056 N Broadway) is nominated for “Best New Sweet Shop,” The Burger Philosophy (1545 W Bryn Mawr) is nominated for “Best New Burger Joint” and Pasteur (5525 N Broadway) is nominated for “Best Comeback.”  You can vote for both all three on TimeOut Chicago’s website here before March 14th, and you’ll also be entered to win some cool prizes such as concert tickets and restaurant gift certificates.

UPDATE:  Our apologies for originally omitting Lickity Split from the list of neighborhood nominees!

It appears that you missed Lickety Split on Broadway. It is nominated in the category Best New Sweet Shop

I am voting for Lickety Split under Best New Sweet Shop. Can’t afford Pasteur’s anyway – especially if you want to take your family.  Does anyone know if the “Public House” under Sports Bars is the same as Burke’s or is there another Public House?

      It is the same place

Public House, I believe, is simply the name of the bar.  Trendy place.
