Lucky 13 is not the theme for Late Night Andersonville, but you might be lucky to find some great deals and support Andersonville by attending the event on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Director of Marketing at the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, Jessica Hammer, says this is the 13th season for Late Night Andersonville while Late-er Night Andersonville, scheduled for Dec. 18 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., has taken place for the past six or seven years.

You will find a wide variety of discounts and services at many of Andersonville’s local businesses. Some businesses will also offer treats or entertainment during the event. Many of the same discounts will be available at Late-er Night Andersonville for those procrastinators among us or those who may have forgotten something at Late Night Andersonville.

“But it’s not just a time to avoid the malls,” Hammer says. “The businesses put in a lot of work to prepare for these events. Our local businesses hire local people, use local graphic designers, use local lawyers,” and all work together to support our community.

So make your list and, before you check it twice, check Andersonville.org.
