As a reminder, there is a Public Safety Forum this Saturday. Below is the agenda for the day:

10:00 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. – Introductions & Overview
•Harry Osterman – Alderman Elect
•Commander Lucy Moy (20th District)
and Commander Michael Wick (24th District)
•Principal Susan Lofton – Senn High School
•Ed McClane, Public Safety Coordinator for the Edgewater Community Council

10:20 a.m. – 11:35 a.m. – Safety Seminars
•“Keeping It Real” – by Officer Jointer
Get inside information on how to keep your home and property safe.
•“Street Safety: How to Stay Safe While Walking our Streets” – by Dr. Ron Rufo
Learn the do’s and don’ts when walking alone or in small groups, especially during late-night hours, and find out how to be a “not so easy target” to criminals and how to be a good eye witness for police officers.
11:35 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Neighborhood Safety Strategy Sessions
Neighbors will break out into brainstorming sessions based on their part of the ward to discuss local safety concerns and how to best address them.

•Room 105 – Neighbors North of Hollywood
•Room 106 – Youth Discussion
