The neighborhood has two new food options as the Original Just Turkey Restaurant opened up on Bryn Mawr this week and Ino’s Pizza recently opened on Clark.  Ino’s occupies the space formerly occupied by the store front for the food truck pioneer Gaztro Wagon which closed their doors in early 2012 at 5973 N Clark.  We’ve yet to try Ino’s personally, but according to their menu posted on Yelp they serve up both thin crust and Chicago-style deep dish pizza along with ribs, wings, sandwiches, salads, calzones and more.

We originally announced that The Original Just Turkey Restaurant was coming to 1132 W Bryn Mawr in August, and cows, pigs and chickens everywhere rejoiced this week (bad play on Chik-Fil-A’s “eat more chik’n”) as they opened their doors.   As previously mentioned Just Turkey was founded in 2008 by brothers Brian & Greg Morton, and is a BBQ joint with a unique concept of everything on the menu being turkey based.  The Edgewater location looks to be a franchise location owned by Ginger Maddox (photo above).

We welcome both new businesses to the neighborhood and wish them success!
