Norse Bar coming to Clark/Devon

A new watering hole is coming to the northwest side of the Edgewater neighborhood.  Norse Bar, a product of Aces Tavern Group, plans to open this October at 6334 N Clark just south of the Clark and Devon intersection.

According to their Facebook page, Norse Bar plans to bring “a Lincoln Park style bar to Edgewater.”  Hmmmmm, and this is a good thing???  On a brighter note, the space will feature multiple LCD televisions, MLB and NFL sports packages, a wide variety of craft brews and even old school Nintendo games.  Now we’re talkin!

    It’ll be nice to have a “grown up” bar in the area! The only other bar is Hamilton’s and there’s too many college kids there.

    Not really northwest side of the intersection…isn’t that the southwest side?

    I hope this one sticks. The Mexican Rest./Tequilla Bar that was going to go in that location ended up pulling out.

    That’s great and all but we don’t have any wine bars or martini lounges unless  you go to Andersonville. We need these type of places here, we have enough sports bars and dive bars. Mix it up.
