Just in time for the holidays, Andersonville adds another unique boutique store to it’s bustling retail district tomorrow. Found Vintage Living, described by owners Brian Mattes and Kevin Schultz as a lifestyle store specializing in vintage furniture, barware, lamps, art and accessories, will open its doors at 1551 West Bryn Mawr Ave. tomorrow, December 8, at 11am. The shop is just west of The Burger Philosophy directly next door to The Call Bar.

The duo behind the store have called Chicago home for 10 years, and are avid collectors of vintage home accessories and barware. “I have always enjoyed the hunt – finding great vintage furniture and housewares that have a fit and function in today’s lifestyles,” said Schultz. Now they’re parlaying that love for vintage into a retail store to share their passion for vintage design and style with their customers. “With the opening of Found, we’re able to bring these treasures back as functional, beautiful focal points in a modern home,” Schultz added.

“We want to transport people back to a time when furnishings had timeless style, great design, and were just fun,” says Mattes.

The store’s hours will be 11 am to 6 pm Tuesday-Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Be sure to stop by this weekend and welcome Found Vintage Living to the neighborhood and do some holiday shopping. You can also “like” them on Facebook to keep up on what’s happening and see some of their inventory.
