No I am not. can lo out my window & see the remains of the last 2 trees that were replaced. And the former grassy area near the entrance.

That’s a good point. The dog BEACH was overtaken by rising Lake Michigan levels. This dog park will be nice for the area, but doesn’t replace the dog beach that we lost last year. The photo and story sounds like they are replacing something that we lost at Foster Ave beach.

This is such great news! The lack of dog parks in Edgewater is a huge part of why we moved out of the neighborhood. As we look to move somewhere more permanently this summer, having a dog park puts Edgewater back in the running!

This is great news and way overdue.
One thing though, the dog park that used to be at the north end of Foster Beach was a Dog Beach, not a Dog Park.
A new dog park at Bryn Mawr will be a great addition, but Chicago needs more Dog Beaches; for those dogs who love to swim and play in Lake Michigan.

The dog walkers use the park next to our building much to our chagrin. Trees are replaced by Streets & San. every spring do to the misuse by dog lovers. The grass has more bare spots than grass & of course we hear them o ut there barking at al hours of the day & night.
