Neighborhood Nights: Andersonville edition

Monday, February 20, 2012
By Jeremy Bressman

After holding events in Uptown and Edgewater, Alderman Harry Osterman’s “Neighborhood Nights” comes to Andersonville tomorrow evening.  According to the 48th Ward office, the evening will be all about celebrating Daylight Savings with clothing discounts, food and wine samplings and exploring Clark Street’s vibrant business community.

Jason Cox, Associate Director of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, who helped coordinate the event stated:  ”The post-holiday months of January-March are some of the slowest for a lot of retailers and restaurants, so it is really great that Alderman Osterman recognizes that and came up with this idea to bring some extra traffic to businesses in his ward.  Mild winter aside, I think everyone gets a little stir crazy around this time of year, so it is a great chance to have a night out with friends in Andersonville, Edgewater and Uptown.  We are looking forward to a fun night!”
