History of Chicago Lecture

Urban History: The New Immigrants
Historian and teacher Myra Loris dazzles us once again with the latest addition to her Chicago history series. This time we are taken back to the Chicago of the 1880’s to 1920’s. We will learn how the immigration of Polish, Italian and East European Jewish people changed the face of the city and how women like Jane Addams made their mark on Chicago.

Taste the sweet life of Chicago with miniature Frango mint cheesecakes.

This event will be held at The Breakers at Edgewater Beach located at 5333 North Sheridan Road, Chicago, Illinois 60640 on Wednesday, September 15th at 1 p.m. Please RSVP to 773-878-5333.
