Gang (?) taggings on Thorndale

A reader informs us:
“I’ve called 311 to report it, but there was quite a burst of graffiti / tagging last night in the 1500 block and 1400 block of W Thorndale. The side of a building (1544) was tagged, as was the entire side wall and back door of the new martial arts studio (front door on Clark), and also the brick wall alongside Senn High School.

All had the same images/text, and were in either black or white, depending on the surface color. The shape of a crown, the initials LK and a trident (I think?). “

As a reminder, when you spot taggings or graffiti please report it to 311 or via the City of Chicago Graffiti Blaster’s online request form to have them removed. But, as an added measure the 20th and 24th District police requests that whenever possible you take pictures of the taggings and email them to: CAPS020District@chicagopolice.org or CAPS.024District@chicagopolice.org
. Based on the description, these could potentially be gang tags and the CPD tracks them.
