The lake is rising, the beaches are eroding, the break-walls are being breached by Lake Michigan waves,Berger Park lakefront trail is eroding into the lake and needs major repair, Temple Emanuel’s parking lot slopes decidedly towards the lake, lush-wide, sandy beaches are no more….and the Alderman has no plans! Time for some meetings! Time to review the plans proposed to Dan Luna, Jerry and Alderman Osterman who have sat on any plans to protect the Edgewater homes and high-rises. Getting re-elected is sometimes the priority over real progress in the community! Federal funds are available. plans need to be put into place.
