Alcohol and trucks typically don’t mix, but in this particular case they do as someone else will be doing the driving.  The Koval Distillery (5121 N Ravenswood) will be hosting food trucks in its parking lot prior to select distillery tours this month.  Koval is Chicago’s first craft distillery since Prohibiton and makes everything from white and aged whiskey, liqueurs, brandy and vodka from scratch.  It’s Ravenswood distillery  tours are an educational and fun way to learn how spirits are created.

The food truck fun begins with tonight’s distillery tour at 7pm, when Italian food truck Getta Polpetta (aka getta meatball!) will be dishing out three types of meatballs (meatball sandwiches, meatball soup, and meatless meatball sandwiches) starting at 6pm.  Other events this month include:

- January 18th (7pm tour):  Duck N Roll

- January 25th (7pm tour): Taquero Fusion

- January 28th (3pm & 5pm tours):  Big Star, Chica Gourmets
