Never been there and I’m not criticizing it but a plain old gym would be nice without a fancy new badge for the trendy. The last one I heard boasting about his new “crossfit” gym had ballooned to 285 lbs. within 18 months. I’m certain it was the craft beer though.

Personally, I wouldn’t be signing any contract there after what I read this year. Doesnt look good. Too much drama even years ago for me to ever consider walking in for a trial, no matter the price and that was about the timeframe of that Sweet Occasions mini-series. Then that spa that up and left people with pricey gift cards in their hands.

It’s great to support local biz but I don’t have $ to throw in the lake. An LA Fitness Express concept would be great replacements. I don’t need a hot towel, locker room shenanigans and wi-fi at the gym though.

I’d like to see one in Andersonville. Cheetah Gym is too expensive, and it’s not that great for what you pay.

The only thing intimidating about larger gyms is people who have social phobias or lack exercise experience.

For $29/month you can join the new LA Fitness and go to any of their gyms nationwide.

If you’re “intimidated” by larger facilities, you can take the money you’d save w/ an LAF membership to cover the co-pay for a therapist.
