Residents living near the shuttered Edgewater Medical Center received a flyer from 40th Ward Alderman O’Connor’s office inviting them to a community meeting to discuss the site of the vacant building.

As I understand it, Waveland Partners is just trying to sell the land to a developer and not actually be developing it. So, does the developer that actually builds this thing have to follow Waveland’s plan that the community ‘approves’ or can it just do whatever it wants within the zoning laws?
