The owner is an elderly former socialite that resides mostly
at her horse farm in Kentucky. She might be eccentric, but not mentally ill.
People said she was nuts because she asked tenants for permission to feed the squirrels
out of their apartment windows. I rented
one of her other properties (Buena Park) and what she told me was that she had
done minimal upgrades to the house, mostly the kitchen. She is not the renovating type as you can tell
from the condition of the exterior. The property I rented had all the original
millwork and architectural details. She unfortunately lost that property because
it needed extensive repairs (electrical, plumbing, new roof.) and the city
found it unsuitable to live in.

Checked Redfin and it was on the market from August-October of 2014. It is not currently listed.

Someone I know provided care for the lady that owned or currently owns this house. She inherited from her parents but is mentally ill and went delinquent on paying taxes for many years. At that time the house was trashed inside.
