Thanks. We also invite the readers to the Edgewater Historical Society’s great exhibit, Motoring Through Edgewater, ending May 3rd (open Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 at 5358 N. Ashland. You will find many more examples of car dealer and garage architecture, then and now; in the 1920s Broadway was considered the north side’s “Motor Row”. The exhibit includes a lot of other interesting car memorabilia and tales of Edgewater residents who were active in early car shows and racing. Lots of fun for the whole family.
Thanks again for your article,
Bob Remer
President, Edgewater Historical Society

Ridge) for over 25 years. It was a great neighborhood to grow up in.
