I lived on that corner and watched hundreds of runners and bicyclists not pay attention to the lights. I have also seen multiple drivers try to “beat the light” on Sheridan as the traffic light to turn on to Lakeshore Drive is one block away and so poorly timed. The CTA bus top north of Ardmore is ridiculous as drivers and pedestrians can not see around the bus and try to cross. The result is that no one wins the race. Half the accidents could be prevented if the CTA stop was on the south side of the Ardmore light.
