Dak Korean Chicken Wings recently opened at 1104 W Granville, just a few steps east of the rehabbed Granville Red Line station.  Named after the Korean word for chicken, Dak is a quick serve restaurant featuring carry out or seating for approximately 20 specializing in Korean style chicken wings and Korean street food.

Korean wings tend to be larger than your standard American buffalo wing, Dak’s come lightly breaded with your choice of a spicy bbq (slightly spicy but sweet at the same time) or Dak soy garlic.  So what does the “street food” portion of the menu entail?  Think rice bowls, egg rolls, moo, kimchi fried rice and bulgogi.  The Dak official website is currently under construction, but you can find a photo of their menu here on Yelp.
