Third Reich Revival? It’s 1908. Must everything look like a crappy version of Bauhaus nowadays under the guise of progress and innovation? And why on earth would we tear down a remarkably intact (inside and out) massive masonry structure to build something else? There isn’t enough money or resources in the state to replicate this structure, so smashing it seems rather a shortsighted option. And good lord, don’t get me going on the environmental impact.

Perkins’ best works. It is an unappreciated building because people do not know about the historical merit. It simply becomes just “the building they pass by everyday”.
