Chicago Restaurant Week Begins
Foodies rejoice, Chicago Restaurant Week 2013 begins today and runs for 10 days through February 10th. During the city wide culinary celebration, diners enjoy prix fixe menus at over 250 participating restaurants starting at $22 for lunch and $33/$44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). Neighborhood restaurants participating in Edgewater & Andersonville include:
Brasserie 54 (5420 N Clark): a newbie to the Andersonville dining scene, Brasserie 54 will feature a $33 dinner menu consisting of foie gras torchon appetizer, halibut or veal entree and tart tatin or mousse dessert. Click here for a more detailed description.
Ceres Table (4482 N Clark): technically in Uptown but close enough to Andersonville, this popular award winning eatery will feature a “build your own” prix fixe dinner menu where diners can choose an appetizer, entree and dessert from the full menu. Click here for a more detailed description.
Francesca’s on Bryn Mawr (1039 W Bryn Mawr): the popular Italian spot will offer both a three course lunch for $22 and a four course dinner for $33. Selections include calamari, pastas, chicken or fish and their yummy tiramisu for dessert. Click here for a more detailed description.
Nothing is required for participation in Restaurant Week, but it is strongly recommended that diners make reservations in advance. To make a reservation, you may book through EatItUpChicago.com or call the restaurant directly.
