According to a press release from Ally Brisbin – assistant to Alderman Harry Osterman of the 48th Ward office: “McCutcheon has one of the most diverse student bodies in the city with over 20 countries represented. McCutcheon students are excelling both in and out of the classroom. As a 1+ school, many of our graduates attend selective enrollment or IB programs throughout the city. With our new fine arts after school program and our cutting edge coding program, McCutcheon not only does a wonderful job pushing our students academically but focuses on the whole child. McCutcheon has one of the best elementary basketball programs in the city, recently winning the Halloween tournament at Fenwick High School. We are beating the odds and closing the achievement gap. McCutcheon is an amazing place to work and attend school. We hope you will help us fund our after school programming and academic initiatives. Your support is critical to our success and we thank you in advance for your generosity.”

48th Ward Alderman Osterman stated, “CPS budget cuts have eliminated critical after school programs for kids from McCutcheon Elementary School. This event gives our neighborhood a chance to come together and support these important programs. Please come out and join us.”

Tickets are $30 in advance and are available on the day of the event. RSVP at
