Osterman votes “no” on speed cameras, but bill passes

48th Ward Alderman Harry Osterman voted against the controversial “Speed Camera” ordinance, but the bill was passed by City Council. Osterman stated, “I voted against this measure in large part due to feedback from many constituents who expressed their concerns about this proposal.”  Cameras are likely to be installed this fall, and tickets will begin being issued early next year.
