Loyola student dies after falling on CTA tracks

According to the Rogers Park News, a Loyola University student died late Saturday evening after falling onto the Red Line tracks at the Loyola CTA station and being electricuted by the third rail. A memorial service was held yesterday eveing in memory of John Versnel, 21, who lived in Rogers Park, and over 300 friends, family, students, faculty and staff of Loyola attended to mourn his death.
