Residents were overwhelming against “Friends of the Parks” plans for the Last Four Miles Initiative, a plan to complete Daniel Burnham’s 1909 design for 30 miles of continuous park land along the lakefront. As real estate sales have come to a halting slowdown across the nation, it appears Edgewater is no exception.
