The Northside AARP Community Group will be holding their regular monthly meeting in a new location at the new Edgewater Public Library, 6000 N. Broadway.  Please join in the discussion of issues important to seniors. The meeting will be held in the Community Room on the 2nd Floor (an elevator is available) on Monday, October 14, 2014 at 12:30 pm.  Please do join in.  Everyone is welcome

This 10-week workshop runs on Mondays from October 7th through December 9th.  We meet from 1pm-4pm.

All of the materials are provided free to participants.  Participants should feel free to come once or all 10 times.

The workshop will culminate in a performance and in a publication.

This workshop is intended to help women writers to develop their craft.  My hope is that through reading, writing, and memorization, these women will strengthen their confidence, enrich their creative and expository writing, and develop more connections in the Rogers Park and Edgewater communities.

**While the workshop is geared toward women of color, EVERYONE is welcome.

Thorndale positive loitering is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the northeast corner of Broadway and Thorndale (Little Corner Restaurant).  Walkers will concentrate on Thorndale between Broadway and Sheridan.  Note change in starting time.
